The history of our parent blog: An aha moment in France
The history of our parent blog: An aha moment in France
In 2019 we traveled through the beautiful country in a camper and experienced a shower surprise for children at the campsites: extra cozy shower areas for the little water lovers. And guess what? Our daughter absolutely loved her own kid-friendly shower! We found it difficult to lure them out of the water oasis in the evening.
This experience stuck with us and gave Rico a great idea: Why not have such great kid's showers here too? Back at home we searched the internet but couldn't find anything suitable. So Rico worked on a solution himself, and the first prototype convinced us and our family and friends!
This is how our adventure as a family business began and the idea of our blog for parents was born. We are:
Rico, the founder and inventor of Fredis kid's showers
Asti, the creative master of design
Marcus, the technology professional and Rico's brother
Together we develop Fredi's children's showers and are so proud that they continue to be handmade by a workshop for the disabled because: Social commitment and sustainability are important to us in production

Before this joyful travel experience, the complete opposite was often the case at home: ranting and whining when it came to showering - until we understood, for example: Why is our child afraid of washing their hair ?
Our kid's shower showed us how needs-oriented this practical little helper was: Because we completely lost sight of what it actually means as a small child to stand in a large adult shower or an ocean-like bathtub:
- the proportions are overwhelming
- the water pressure is terrifying
- the poor accessibility is frustrating
- the bland bathroom design is boring
The simplest tips for parents: understanding and preparation

To understand your child, become one yourself. Then you can prepare yourself well and feel how your little one feels:
- take a change of perspective
- brings color and cheerfulness to the bathroom
- design a child-safe bathroom
If you take this to heart, you will quickly see how much more comfortable your kids feel. And believe us, this will prevent gray hair for decades!

If washing your hair went well, that's half the battle. But hair care afterward is just as crucial and carries a lot of risk for loud shouting: combing and brushing are the final enemies! One of the tips for mothers and fathers is our cool children's detangling brush (detangler brush). This means you can gently care for your hair without sudden hearing loss.
After bathing or showering (but also after splashing around on a day at the beach), the kids want to be wrapped up nice and warm - and then continue to romp around. Our comfortable and cozy kid's ponchos are the best choice. They have great quality and are even sustainably made from used towels.
Speaking of running around: When our little sailors play in the shower or tub, they could quickly slip on the wet, slippery floor or on an unsuitable pad. To ensure that the wild adventure remains risk-free, we recommend our beautifully designed, non-slip bath mat . For more safety and color in the bathroom.
